Firetower
Located directly off of Rte. 6, this wireless tower is incorporated into a fire tower in Wellfleet, MA. I don't believe this fire tower is used anymore to watch for fires, but it is doing duty as a tower for at least two cellular providers. One of the providers is AT&T Wireless, with the old 'Telecorp' identifying labels still on the equipment. With the help of Parris Wood, I believe the second carrier is T-Mobile.
Above: You can clearly see the cell tower from the road. There are cabins for rent directly behind the tower.
Above: Note the chain link fence with a green mesh to conceal the electronics that lie within.
Above and Below: Note the placement of the antenna. I believe the small square boxes below the antenna are signal splitters to mix two signals into one antenna. (Such as the GSM and TDMA , which are both used by AT&T).
Above: Note what appears to be the GPS antenna on the top left side of the tower.
