Wood Hill, Holmes Road Tower Site

Wood Hill in Andover Mass, off of Rte 495 (about 1 mile from Interstate 93) has multiple towers sites, including radio broadcast facilities for WKLB 99.5 FM. Mounted on the WKLB tower (below) are Cingular and AT&T Wireless. Not pictured but installed after I took these pictures in 2000 are Voicestream antennas and equipment. In addition to these, Verizon, Nextel, and Page Net are all installing equipment on the tower as of Feb 2000).
These are the two sets of equipment shelters servicing the tower main tower. Above are the facilities for cellular (pictured is Cellular One). AT&T and T-Mobile currently have equipment installed (I will update these pictures soon). This is one of the more active sites, always something new being added. Unfortunately, these pictures are a little old (Nov. 1999), and will have to be updated soon!
Below is the equipment shelter for WKLB and some of the other wireless facilities on the tower.
